James Murphy

​​​James Murphy has been working in Haiti for over 4 years and spent his first summer in Haiti after the earthquake where he led the construction of a home in Carrefour.  In 2011 he completed a full-length documentary on the political reconstruction of Haiti and dedicated his senior essay to understanding the construction economy of Haiti.  

James is a graduate of Yale University and his academic work has been featured in the Yale Business Society magazine, the Yale Entrepreneur, at the Katz School of Business, and he has spoken on the topic at the Yale School of Management, and the Business Society's conference on sustainable enterprise in developing nations. James is the Yale Day of Service Coordinator for Haiti, and a member of the Yale Alumni Non-Profit Association.  He serves as a trustee for the Aurelian Honor Society at Yale and the Yale Adelphic Literary Society. 

James comes from a construction background, his family has been in the residential home business for over 25 years in the United States


Mike Stewart

​Vice President

Mike Stewart has a history and training focused on emergency response, security, and business development both within US government and private sectors. Spending the last 7 years living and working in Haiti specifically developing resources and relationships that lead to aid the response efforts during the 2010 earthquake. During his tenure with the organization Hope for Haiti, Mike executed the distribution of over 10 million worth of medications each year, managed multiple construction projects, development of health and WASH programs, as well as over seeing the education program consisting of over 40 schools. Mike continues his work in Haiti’s development by doing focused business development through his current position as CEO at Sitwayen Development Group.

Jim Murphy

Jim Murphy is President & CEO of Continental Construction, a residentail real estate development firm with offices in Naples, FL and Big Sky, MT. Founded in 1987, Continental Construction has received numerous awards, including; American Institute of Architects (AIA) Builder of the Year, four Aurora Awards and two Grand Aurora Awards for design and development of the historical Keewaydin Island, Sand Dollar Product Design of the Year for One-of-a-Kind Home, and four Gold ADDY Awards to name a few.  Jim is an Elected member of the Commercial-Investment Real Estate Council and is instremental in giving back to the communities he is involed in. In Naples, he has served on the boards of the Conservancy of Southwest Florida, Seacrest Country Day School, and Greater Naples Little League. In Big Sky, he serves on the boards of the Yellowstone Club Community Foundation and the Yellowstone Park Foundation. 

​John D'Orazio

John D'Orazio is the CEO and Founder of Proton Enterprises, LLC. Proton Enterprises was founded in 2012 in Naples, FL and is a business incubator and non-traditional venture capital firm. Proton Enterprises focuses on disruptive technologies to empower entrepreneurship. We take on projects of integrity to make a positive impact in the world.


John graduated cum laude from Xavier University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He majored in Business Management and minored in Entrepreneurial Studies. He has worked in finance in the Internal Sales Department at Federated Investors, Inc. John has also done consulting at a few start-up companies, assisting in the fundraising and development phase of the businesses.


Frank Raffaele

Board of Directors

Frank has held various management and executive positions across diverse industries including:  non-profit, government, real estate, food service, property management, online commerce, and financial companies.  He currently serves on the board of various corporations and charitable groups.  He is the founder of many organizations including his newest ventures:  CoFEED Roasters (a coffee shop chain that will support various charitable missions; 5%-10% of cafe gross revenue is earmarked for local charitable causes) and Helping Humans, (LEVE's fiscal sponsor), a non-profit.  Frank has extensive knowledge in auctions and markets with a particular emphasis on online auctions and major capital market exchanges.  Frank graduated from Yale University in 1995 and is a founding member of the Yale Alumni Non-Profit Alliance (YANA).
